1004 BACON consists of a complete product, mixture of spices and additives, to salt and preserve BaconIts purpose is to provide the meat product with different spices flavour as well as good colour and aroma, so it enhances good appearance, perfect hygiene and preservation. Contains SALT.
Its use is complies with EU regulations (89/107/CE, 95/2/CE, 96/85/CE, 98/72/CE and 2001/5/CE).
At moderate temperature; white powder, with its own odour and flavour.
Use 30 grams of this product per every 1000 grams of piece of product to be treated.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Rub the meat pieces with the indicated dose of this product (preferably on tumbling machine), and then place the meat pieces in the soaking casks. Leave it all there for 72 hours; if periodical tumbling can not be programmed, at least turn the pieces up side down after the first 36h in the soaking cask.
After the soaking, proceed to the usual curing.
This product is packed in 1, 5 and 25 Kg bags.
1 year shelf life if kept under cool, dry and dark conditions.
